7 DIAMOND LOVE IS THE BOMB BANGLE

Seven diamonds symbolizing love seven days a week. We received so many ring requests from birds and grooms that we extended our use of Kimberley Process Certified Diamonds into our bangles. After all, the diamond is the most iconic symbol of love and our guiding mantra is LOVE IS THE BOMB as objects of destruction are transformed into symbols of love. It is with this spirit of love that farmer-artisans in Laos began upcycling Vietnam War shrapnel and scrap into soup spoons to feed their noodle soup loving neighbors in the 1970s. Each ARTICLE22 piece is a modern heirloom – an actual piece of history redesigned with intention – that inspires action toward our future, individually and collectively.

How do we get the gold tone? Gold anodization of aluminum known as anodizing is an electrochemical process which converts the metal surface into a decorative, durable, corrosion-resistant, wear-resistant oxide layer. It cannot chip or peel. We do not use pigments, but metals to obtain the gold color. Gold anodizing is therefore extremely UV resistant and will remain sparkling for a long time. COLOR/PATINA MAY VARY DUE TO THE HAND MADE NATURE OF THE PIECE. These imperfections reflect the nature of the material and artisanal hand feel.
