Sapphire is a celestial stone of wisdom, mental acuity, and intuition. The intense blue color in all its shades carries healing, expression and the gift of foresight. The ancient Greeks would wear sapphires when visiting the Oracle of Delphi at Apollo’s temple, the messenger god’s shrine to open up divine prophecy.
