Blood Road, produced by Red Bull Media House, follows the journey of ultra-endurance mountain bike athlete Rebecca Rusch and her Vietnamese riding partner, Huyen Nguyen as they pedal 1,200 miles along the Ho Chi Minh Trail. Their Goal: to reach the crash site and final resting place of Rebecca’s father, A U.S. Air Force pilot shot down over Laos. In his last letter home, Captain Rusch had one instruction for his daughters: Be Good. It’s a story about the scars, both physical and emotional, that war leaves on families, countries, and cultures, and how they still exist today. His words are the galvanizing force propelling Rebecca to engage in the recovery and healing in Laos by raising funds and awareness for MAG (Mines Advisory Group) to clear so mom the 80 million unexploded bombs.
