I am an artist
My inspirations motivates me, mostly my inspirations come from my intimacy in relations to the outside environment such as people’s energy, nature, everything that provokes a certain personal experience.
In my work I tend to use a symbolic language, therefore I research a lot on the symbolic field, regardless cultures, religions, country, symbols are always channeling a mysterious reality that connect me to my intimacy .

This mantra is to remind me that every part of the process is crucial but most of it is to be present during the process this is not just pertaining the artistic process is the mantra to live our life.
Michela Martello: Artist l Paintress
Born in Grosseto, Italy, Michela Martello is a multidisciplinary artist whose research is influenced by both traditional and contemporary sources.She has been living and working in New York City since 1996 where she often collaborates with Pen & Brush, an association which supports women’s work in literary and visual art.

Michela Martello has participated in solo and group exhibitions including, Weight of Happiness at Tibet House Museum, NY, 2014; Transcending Tibet at Trace Foundation, NY, 2015; Domesticity Revisited at Pen & Brush, NY, 2015; Time Zone at MAAM, MUSEUM Roma, 2015; and Overlap-Life tapestries at A.I.R. gallery, Brooklyn, 2017. She has also been a part of national and international public art projects including The Wave Walk (La Mer, 2017), and the Wooden Walls Project curated by Parlor Gallery in Asbury Park, NJ.
