Michela Martello: Artist l Paintress
Born in Grosseto, Italy, Michela Martello is a multidisciplinary artist whose research is influenced by both traditional and contemporary sources.She has been living and working in New York City since 1996 where she often collaborates with Pen & Brush, an association which supports women’s work in literary and visual art.

Michela Martello has participated in solo and group exhibitions including, Weight of Happiness at Tibet House Museum, NY, 2014; Transcending Tibet at Trace Foundation, NY, 2015; Domesticity Revisited at Pen & Brush, NY, 2015; Time Zone at MAAM, MUSEUM Roma, 2015; and Overlap-Life tapestries at A.I.R. gallery, Brooklyn, 2017. She has also been a part of national and international public art projects including The Wave Walk (La Mer, 2017), and the Wooden Walls Project curated by Parlor Gallery in Asbury Park, NJ.
